All about the Association
The F3J-UK Association was formed in July 2000 with the following objectives:
- To encourage and improve F3J thermal soaring in the UK and internationally;
- To represent democratically the views and opinions of regular F3J flyers of the BMFA National League through its membership;
- To encourage junior F3J flyers to participate in the sport both nationally and internationally.
In May 2001 the Association's application to be the BMFA specialist body for F3J flying in the UK was accepted.
