F3J league 2002 - Round '0' (7th April)
This event is being held in Ashurst, West Sussex.
This is a field we have used before for F3J and many pilots will be familiar with the directions.
This competition will not count towards the league scores for 2002, but will be an opportunity
for both the organisers and pilots to get back into the swing of flying F3J.
All are welcome. Please let Kevin Beale know that you are coming in advance,
so that a matrix can be prepared. Do not send any money, this will be collected from you on the day.
Directions
Travelling south on the B2135, go through Ashurst and after a little less
than 1 mile turn left into a single track road (look out for signs).
We have used the field about 100m on the right previously.
This time we will be using a larger field on the left.
As usual the competition will start promptly at 10.00am.
Please be there in good time to check in, receive your competition details and have
your planes and towing kit ready to go.
We expect to be allowing the use of two-man tethered stake pulley towing.
If you have access to streetmap.co.uk on the internet then the map reference is as follows
(by the way ignore the arrow on the map, it seems to have missed the target by some way):

Here's a picture, this time from multimap. The width of the map is about 10 miles.
