Information on SFTC the 'Silent Flight Technical Committee' of the BMFA As a Specialist Body appointed by the BMFA, the Association has an automatic place on the SFTC Committee. This committee is concerned with all matters relating to 'silent flight' model flying in the UK, The committee is currently (February 2002) made up of the following members: Chris Bishop (Chairman) and the specialist body delegates, who may vary depending on the decision of the organisation concerned: F3J-UK Association: Nick Evans The Committee normally meets about about four times a year. As a service to members we are making minutes available on the F3J-UK website as word files below. SFTC minutes from the meeting held on 13th October 2001 SFTC minutes from meeting held on 1st December 2001 Please note that minutes are discussed and then approved at the following meeting of SFTC, and corrections/additions added in the next set of minutes. Note that the minutes to the meeting held on 1/12/2001 were subject to change at the meeting held on 9th of March 2002 (which will be posted here in due course), in particular the addition of a report of a discussion regarding the use of tethered stakes not included in the attached draft.
